  • The Vague Glory Club, 1968

Founded long ago after World War I, the Vague Glory has only known one name. The club is named for the soldiers who founded it originally. Never wanting to discuss their wartime deeds, the soldiers promptly named it the Vague Glory Club. Their motto being, "Speak little of the past." This club has been passed down from veteran to veteran and still serves as a place for soldiers and civilians alike to socialize or have simply sit and enjoy a drink and good food. The current owner is John Colts, who bought the club from a Korean War veteran after suffering a debilitating leg wound during his tour in Vietnam as a United States Army Green Beret.
