The icy Great North has long since beat weakness out of the Korblox tribes, and the merely strong have been culled over millenia of constant conflict. Thus the Korblox are a mighty race. Individuals who seek to lead the Korblox armies must prove their prowess by making a journey deep under the ice to the Burned Lands and return to present a living ruby to the clan Deathspeaker. Many do not return. But those who do are marked as Chosen.
