*Ship capsizes properly now and dosen't take as long*.At 8:12AM on November 21, 1916, the HMHS Britannic shook with an explosion. With the damage she sustained and a few malfunctions, she reached her flooding limit (six watertight compartments); unfortunately, nurses had opened the portholes to ventilate rooms (against orders) and, as the bow sank further into the water and reached these portholes, the ship was overwhelmed. Captain Bartlett, attempting to save his ship, tried to beach the ship on the island of Kea, unsuccessfully. Within 55 minutes, at 9:07AM, the HMHS Britannic descended into the Kea Channel, following her sister in being a time capsule.

Thankfully, of the roughly 1100 people aboard her at the time, only thirty were killed. These fatalities were due to the propellors, as two lifeboats, launched without authorization and without Bartlett's knowledge, drifted into them as Captain Bartlett attempted to beach the ship.
