How much Ram does Roblox use ?

Someone told me it wasnt that much.
I have 4 GB of Ram on my computer, which is why it doesnt lag too much.

i have 8 gigs
no lag at all, so probably a gig or under |

My laptop is an Alienware.
Its only a couple of months old.
Would the Graphics card be considered outdated ? |

Im going to estimate the Ram is around 4-40 mb.
It cant be much, considering the actual Roblox game file isnt that big. |

It depends on the size of the game you play. Maximum is 1 GB.

@littlet11man - Random Access Memory.
Just how a program stores variables and other data that it isn't necessarily saving. It's used temporarily and then can be overwritten. |

One Roblox tab generally uses up about 4Gb of RAM.
So if you have 4Gb of RAM then that's fine, as long as you don't have any other tabs open.
Although if this is a problem you can always buy some more RAM at Crucial.com
(as long as you have enough room to put ram in that is).
There will be an option to get ddr 3 memory or ddr 2, ddr 3 is better quality RAM but ddr 2 should still cope fine on Roblox.

Bloxxerblob, Even gamers don't need that much RAM, even if they were to play in 1080p resolution.
Oh and just to say do you have ddr 2 or ddr 3 memory? |

I have 12 gig, but I can run it on 256mb.

| 256Mb is an extremely low amount of ram. I'm sure you would not be able to play Roblox with that much. |

| An important message to tell everyone if you were thinking of getting a fast laptop then make sure It is 64 bit because If it's 32 bit no matter how much RAM you have only 3-3.5 Gb will be effective. |
