Modern Assault Guide

- Modern Assault: Introduction
Modern Assault is a FPS (First Person Shooter) game scripted and built by Garnold and lazurek2 on the account ModernAssaultStudios. The goal of designing the game was to make a Roblox version of popular games of the genre such as Battlefield 3, off of which a lot of this game is based. The game is currently in production, but is in playable form. Another thing is that this game is, as of now, the ONLY game in Roblox that features the ability of loading different terrain maps, using compressed versions of saved terrain made by one of my plugins. This guide is for showing how to play the game, because the way it works may seem very complex to beginners. Thanks for reading this, and I hope this helps you with the game.

- Modern Assault: Controls
The controls are a bit different from other games on Roblox, and may be a bit hard to get used to. But they are as follows:
Fire weapon/Plant C4 - Left mouse button
Aim down sights/detonate C4 - Right mouse button
View leaderboard - Q
Sprint - Hold E while walking
Reload - R or click when clip is out
Switch weapons - Z
Switch to Gear - F
Prepare Grenade - Hold G
Release Grenade - Let go of G
Knife - V
Go prone - X
Crouch - C

- Modern Assault: Unlocks
In the game there are 30+ weapons and gear for you to unlock. In this section I'll label the unlocks for each class.
Assault - Ammo Pack --> SCAR-L --> M320 Grenade Launcher --> AEK-971 --> Ammo Pack Upgrade --> M16A3 --> AN-94 --> XM8 for Russians/AK-12 for Americans
Demolition - RPG-7 --> PP-2000 --> AT Mines (Might get replaced) --> MP5A3 --> SMAW --> AKS-74u --> HK-416 for Russians/9A-91 for Americans
Medic - Med-kit --> M27 IAR --> Med-kit Upgrade --> RPK-74 --> M249 SAW --> MG-36 --> M60E4 for Russians/PKM for Americans
Recon - C4 --> SV-98 --> Mk14 EBR --> M40A5 --> M2010 --> M98B --> Magnum Rounds --> LAZ-2
Rank - First Aid Kit Upgrade --> 870MCS --> Extra Ammo Upgrade --> M1014 --> Glock 17 --> Body Armor Upgrade --> Saiga-12k --> Extra Grenades Upgrade --> USAS-12 --> .44 Magnum --> Deployable Machine gun
Also there is a system of unlocking attachments for weapons. It is set up like the system in battlefield 3, where every 10 kills with a specfic gun gets an unlock for that gun. An example of this includes:
XM8:
10 Kills = 4x ACOG
20 Kills = Red Dot Sight
30 Kills = Foregrip
40 Kills = Suppressor
This example applies to most guns.

- Modern Assault: Maps
As of now, there are 4 of the 7 maps that will be in the game. The maps are:
*Name* -- denotes maps that are not yet in-game.
Afghan Valley - A valley in Afghanistan that is close to a strategic airport. Control of this place for the Americans is key for air raids in Russian territory.
Chechen Valley - A green valley in Chechnya, which has separated from Russia. The Russians are sending troops into the region to take it back, while the NATO forces are fighting to gain support of the region, allowing an advance into Russian territory.
*Volga River* - One of the final obstacles for the NATO forces. On the opposite side is a city with a Russian military base.
*Alaskan Port* - The first step in the Russian's conquest of North America.
City - A city in Canada that is home to hundreds of thousands of civilians. The control over this city is vital for Russian advancement into North America.
Toronto Highway - A heavily populated area in Toronto, Canada that is separated by a once heavily trafficked highway. This area is the last obstacle for Russia before advancing into American territory.
*New York* - One of the last major fights for Russia before conquering the Americans.

| Upgrades will absolutely have an affect soon. However, you're not just ranking up for upgrades. You're ranking up for the weapons, attachments, and prestige of having achieved a level higher than your buddy, and gaining an advantage in the battlefield. |

I personaly don't care about the upgrades,I'd rather get the new maps in.
Plus,is Deployable MG in the game yet? |

I don't believe it's in yet.
As mentioned before, the new update may have brought much more lag in. Will anything be done to fix this? |

The Deployable Machine Gun has been released although it is in the upgrades/ranks area, it is the top(and probably the best) upgrade/rank(so far) so you do not have to worry! Though it would take a bit of time to get it... |

I'm very curious as to how that deploy-able MG will react...
Also, yeah the recent update just RUINED the games speed. Lag had been rampant, and it's really starting to rub me an my peers the wrong way. Also, hackers, glitchers, and the like seem to be more common, along with the occasional, yet very devastating XP loss...
I'd just like to toss this into the hat, but may we see an explosives upgrade? Grenades and RPG's (SMAW) don't seem to do as much damage as they ought to.. |

Also the updates have messed up some of the scripts, (ROBLOX updates)
and have made the next match (sometimes) freeze, and you will not be able to get into the battlefield. <-< |

| well the game glitched out alittle dont fix the RPG yet. just upgrade the M27 IAR. cause its low damage.. |

| at the start you have a hard time ranking but later on you rank faster also the shotguns are crap...... |

No, Shotguns are not crap. Shotguns Are Very Useful. If You Are Lucky, You Can Make 1 Shot Kills With Them..
P.S Is The SAGIA 12k A Shotgun Or A Sniper? |
