How do you put clothing on a humoniod or figure in a place?

| I been trying to put clothing (a shirt) on a dialog person in one of my places, i insert a shirt object in the model, but i don't know how to put the shirt on the person. |

you need the asset id or what ever and a humanoid
note:make sure you have limbs labled(Head,Left Arm,Right Arm,Left Leg,etc.) |

To put clothing onto your Humanoid figure what you have to do is make sure your Tools function is open if you do not have this
tools in top left so you have all your bars up.
When you have done that press view then press properties, I suggest you get Explorer open to.When you have done that click the model you want the clothing on and then
do this,
Insert>Object>Shirt
Insert>Object>Pants
To get a special template on your figure click the shirt or the pants.
I will explain with the pants.
Find the pants you want from catalog and click your Shirt that should be in your Humanoid figure, it will say something called ShirtTemplate were this is put
http://www.roblox.com/asset/?id= and then get the numbers off the end of your pants and -1 so if your number was 484848 your new number would be 484847.
so your shirt template would be http://www.roblox.com/asset/?id=484847
Give it a second to load and he should be wearing your clothing.

btw
if you -1 and it brings you to something else -1 again.
its because that item was being made at the same time the shirt/pants was being made. |

| This really helped. Thanks. To the people that still dont understand, I'll give you and example. I chose the shirt "http://www.roblox.com/Black-T-Shirt-item?id=13997647". Still following? Then I copied the id (13997647) into the ShirtTemplate on my person. Then I -1 from 13997647 and got 13997646. That gave me the shirt. It's easier than you think. Thanks again! |
