It lets you create 3D mazes that other people can play.

First, you go here:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/10434417/Scripts/JavaScript/rpg/builder.html

The blue square is your player.
Click the squares around it to place floor panels.
It will automatically generate where the walls will go.

When you're done, press the spacebar and it will generate the maze based on your design.

What do you think of it so far?

It's cool.

Make it so you can add like a 'finish' though. Also, the decals are a little blurry.

For the rest, it's amazing.

Try Chrome. Chrome runs HTML5 the best.
I may put this in the Chrome Web Store in the future once it gets good enough.

>"Make it so you can add like a 'finish' though."
I will. I've only just started working on this.

>"Also, the decals are a little blurry."
Yeah, I'll try to get higher-res decals.

>"For the rest, it's amazing."
Thanks! :D

Are you using an old version?
You can also see what web standards the currently open page is using by pressing F12. It should be Standards.

Regarding gameplay, I would make the turning of the camera a little less sensitive (it turns really quickly and is hard to control), and make the first person view a little higher up. I feel like a very short person in the game l0l.

I didn't even try the space bar thing.

The reason that doesn't work in IE is that they haven't supported WebGL yet. We'll have to wait for IE11 (win8 only qq).

Not sure if Opera supports WebGL.

If the OP adapts the code a bit, then IEWebGL plugin can be used.

>"What decals?"
You said, and I quote, "the decals are a little blurry."

>"It works exactly the same in IE as it does in other browsers..."
Doesn't run in IE.
Three.js is not IE compatible.
Or, more like, IE is not Three.js compatible.
Because every other web browsers supports Three.js.

>"y it no work for me!! ;c"
Use Google Chrome.

>"I would make the turning of the camera a little less sensitive"
Adjusted.

>"and make the first person view a little higher up."
And adjusted.

Any better?

- Make people jump less higher ._.
- Add more realism to walking.
   - Camera bobbing
   - "Drifting" after stopping walking

But that's the whole game!
After you make a maze, press the spacebar to generate it.

>"- Make a maze generator"
I'm not really sure the algorithms to do that, honestly.
I may try to figure that out in the future as like a final touch.

>"- Make people jump less higher ._."
Adjusted.

>"- Camera bobbing"
I won't be able to do that.
That requires vertical rotation, and that messes everything up.
The algorithms for proper vertical rotation are more complex than you'd think.
I've been trying to figure it out for a long time and haven't managed to figure it out yet.

>"- "Drifting" after stopping walking"
I can add that. I'll get on it now.

Why don't you make the camera bob in an upside down U shape?

Look at a U.
Do you not see anything vertical about a U?

I remember that too. :P

The camera already rotates when you press left/right.

>"By the way, Wikipedia: Maze generation algorithm"
Oh... okay. I may add that in the future.
That'll be interesting.
